TV Repair Service - Carry-In

Many big box stores ship your TV out-of-house (or more likely, out-of-state) to a separate repair facility. We operate our own service department here in our store! Love TV offers a full range of TV repair services within our comprehensive service department. Your TV will be worked on in-house by our expert staff and we'll contact you with an estimate for your approval before any repair is completed. A small estimate fee, paid at time of check-in, applies in full to any completed repair.* Please remember to bring your remote control as well!

TV Repair Service - In-Home

If it’s not convenient to bring your TV to our store for service, Love TV will come to you! We provide in home service. Our factory trained service technicians are available to troubleshoot, diagnose and estimate your cost of repair.* Keep in mind our technician may determine some or all of your TV may need to come into our shop for further evaluation. Additional shop charges will apply at this point.

When calling to schedule an appointment, please have your TVs model number handy. And remember, our technicians must be able to access the back of your set in order to best assist you. If your TV is mounted to a wall, enclosed in an entertainment center, or in a tight space you may need to move it to give the technician access.

These are some of the first thoughts that usually run through your mind when your electronic device stops working.

This is probably one of the hardest questions to answer. In most cases, there is no direct evidence of a singular cause for failure and it rarely is the fault of the customer. The same symptom can be caused by many possible things failing. Our technicians will need to test your set and find the failure(s) that need(s) to be corrected and then call you with an estimate of repair.

Yes indeed. Under and over-voltage will hurt your delicate electronics. It doesn't always happen during a storm. Everyday constant changes in voltage take its toll on all of our electronics and eventually they will fail. These are the million dollar questions...not to suggest it will cost a million dollars for the repair. Love TV will help you with your repair needs and with your new TV purchase. We realize your need for a repair estimate to help you make the right choices for you. That is why we will always call you with an estimate of repair on anything you bring to us. There is an estimate fee paid at time of check-in which will be applied toward the cost of repair. The fee will be based upon the size and technology within the product.

The only way to determine the true cost of repair will be from our technicians' troubleshooting and testing. Symptoms are only a very small clue to what work is necessary to complete a repair. Without our technicians testing, there is no possible way to know for a fact what it will cost to repair. As long as the TV had not been physically cracked or broken, in most cases it will be worth repair. Almost every TV we see needing service, the customer has chosen to have it repaired. And many times also buy a new TV from us as well.

Love TV will perform repair service on items in the order that they are checked in for service. We typically will call with an estimate in a few days but we ask that you give us up to a week before you call us. After you approve your estimate, the time before completion will be based upon the need for parts to complete your repair.

This not a good idea. In most cases, the TV would have been worth repair if the customer did not try to do it themselves. Videos online are rarely about your specific make, model and model version of TV. They also make it look much easier than reality. Just getting a TV apart or handling components and cables can compromise the TV and turn it into trash in no time. Your TV is a delicate piece of equipment and should only be repaired by an experienced electronics technician.

There are many ways we hear that TVs have been damaged; from ‘My son threw a toy at the TV’ to ‘The TV fell off the wall’. If the panel (screen) is cracked, the panel will have to be replaced. Like with any repair, Love TV will need to get into the set to gather information to formulate an estimate.

Yes we do offer financing for new purchases as well as repairs. Once every month, Love TV promotes special financing offers. You can get a free estimate during this promotion period simply by bringing us your TV and filling out a credit application. There is no obligation or requirement for approval. Please call us for the promotion period and bring two proper forms of ID (with expiration dates).
